About Us

Anne-Marie is a native French speaker with 20 years’ experience working in a secondary school in the UK, teaching French and German.

She holds degrees in English, German and French, along with a P.G.C.E (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) and is also qualified to teach English as a Foreign language (TEFL).

Anne-Marie also has several years’ experience of working in primary schools and teaching adults in community centres at evening classes. Her established career as a teacher means she has a broad knowledge of British exam qualifications.

Over the past ten years, Anne-Marie has also been an international schools co-ordinator, developing links with schools in Finland, Estonia, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, Sweden, Nepal and Jamaica.

During the immersion programme, Anne-Marie will be delivering grammar lessons and assisting with Oral and written work, she will also be leading Art and Craft sessions.

Chris is a native English speaker who has over 27 years’ experience working in the Outdoor education sector. During this time, Chris has worked in the public, private and voluntary sectors across all of the UK and many parts of Europe.

Chris holds a host of land and water based qualifications, along with a food hygiene diploma, TEFL and Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (I.O.S.H) Managing safely certificate issued through Coventry University.

During the immersion experience, Chris will lead students and guests on afternoon or evening excursions and activities alongside local guides.

Both Anne-Marie and Chris hold clean enhanced DBS checks (Disclosure and Barring Service).
